Hot Tub, Shed, Deck & Above-Ground Pool Removal in Monroe, MI & Toledo, OH
A dead hot tub is the hardest thing in most backyards to get rid of. It weighs six to nine hundred pounds empty, it is full of waterlogged foam insulation, no scrap yard wants the shell, and it will not fit through a gate. We cut them down on site — power disconnected first, water drained, cabinet and shell sectioned, insulation bagged — and carry it out in pieces, usually in two to four hours. Same approach on a rotted shed, a spongy deck, a rusting above-ground pool, or the swing set the kids outgrew a decade ago. Around here that work is seasonal in a way it is not further south: frozen ground and snow load change how a shed comes apart, and a lot of these jobs land in a narrow window in spring and fall.

Not sure whether this is the right service, or what it should cost? If any of these sound familiar, call us — we'll look at it, tell you straight what it takes, and quote one flat price for the whole job.

- An above-ground pool has not held water since last season
- You are selling and an inspector called out a structure in the yard
One crew, both sides of the state line
Monroe County, Michigan and Lucas County, Ohio are fifteen minutes apart and run on different disposal systems — different transfer stations, different tipping fees, different rules on appliances, tires and construction debris. That is why so many haulers work one side and turn the other down. We run both counties as a single service area and route each load to the facility that will actually take it, so a Temperance job and a Toledo job get the same price and the same truck.
From the first call to an empty room
Call or Send Photos
Tell us what you have, or text a couple of photos. For straightforward loads we can quote from pictures; for cleanouts we come look. Either way it costs nothing.
Firm Price On Site
We walk the job with you, point at exactly what is going, and give you a flat price for the whole thing. If you say no, we leave and there is no charge.
We Load It Out
You point, we carry. Doorways and banisters get protected, and everything comes out of the room it is in — you should not have to move a thing to the curb first.
Swept Up and Sorted
We sweep the space before we pull out, then sort the load on our end: donations dropped, metal scrapped, electronics recycled, and only the rest to the transfer station.

Most hot tub removals run $350–$750. Swim spas, tubs behind a locked gate or a narrow side yard, and tubs on a raised deck run higher, up to about $1,000–$1,400. The job takes two to four hours and includes hauling every piece away. Full detail in our hot tub removal cost guide.
It helps, but we can handle it. A drained tub is lighter and faster to cut down, which sometimes lowers the quote. If the pump is dead or the drain is seized we bring a pump. Do not try to move a tub with water still in it — that is how people get hurt.
The spa has to be disconnected at the breaker and the disconnect box before we cut it down. We coordinate that with you, and if the wiring needs to be properly capped or the disconnect removed we will tell you to have an electrician handle that piece rather than doing it ourselves.
Yes. Wood or metal, we take the structure, the floor and the skids. If you also want the gravel pad, blocks or pavers gone we can haul those, though it adds volume and cost. Shed demolition typically runs $400–$1,100.
Spring and fall. Frozen ground, snow load on a shed roof, and ice around a hot tub all make winter work slower and occasionally unsafe, and the ground is softest right after the thaw. The good weeks book out fast in this market, so call earlier than you think you need to.
